The Port of Rotterdam is looking at opportunities in India. The Indian Government recognizes that the capacity of their ports needs to be improved. The Port of Rotterdam presently participates as a shareholder in two overseas port projects – one in Sohar, Oman and the other Pecem in Brazil. Now they are considering investing in new and existing ports and have assigned two Rotterdam representatives to India.
