Hapag-Lloyd, the German shipping giant has announced a SPD (local Supplementary charge destination July 1 on cargo at the Port of Durban arriving without 24 hour prior notification of pre-arranged onward passage. The carrier requires release documents to be provided 24 hours prior to vessel berthing in order to have transporter details assigned.
