Finnair, the Helsinki-based airline, is the latest to be adapting its cabins to handle more cargo. This week it will fly more than 10 return trips to Tokyo, Seoul, Osaka, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The flights, which are arranged both as charter as well as Finnair’s own commercial operations, will carry critical medical supplies, as well as normal cargo such as fresh fish to both Finland and Estonia.
